Welcome to the website of the Australian Logistics Council, where you will find information about how ALC is working to improve the efficiency and safety of Australia’s supply chains. ALC is the peak industry body for the Australian logistics industry, and is the leader in the national debate on the steps needed to boost supply chain efficiency. ALC represents major Australian logistics customers, providers, infrastructure owners and suppliers, and we work on their behalf to ensure government at all levels consider the needs of the logistics industry in their investment and policy decisions Our website features information on these organisations we represent, the importance of the logistics industry to the Australian economy, our wide range of events, and ALC’s broad policy focus. This includes advocacy to governments on:
- Supply chain logistics safety
A particular focus for ALC this year is working with governments to Get the Supply Chain Right which will also be the theme of the upcoming ALC Forum, to be held on 7-9 March 2017 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. You will also find links from this website to information about the ALC National Logistics Safety Code of Practice.
