Policy & Research Officer (full / part time)

The Australian Logistics Council, the peak industry body for the Australian logistics industry, has an exciting opportunity for a Policy & Research Officer.

You will be involved in a diverse range of policy-related functions and will play an integral role across ALC’s small team to undertake research into issues affecting Australia’s freight logistics industry.

Critical to this role will be managing policy committees, including the preparation of papers and reporting meeting outcomes. You will have an excellent attention to detail. You will also have responsibility for a range of administrative tasks to support the operations of the office.

The role would suit someone with a keen interest in policy and research and pursuing a career which interacts closely with business, industry groups and government. You will be motivated and a proven self-starter, with the ability to work to tight deadlines in a small team environment

The role is based in Canberra and may involve some travel. Remuneration is dependent on relevant skills and experience.
